The DISCOVERY career trade fair opened its doors on the 9th of April at the JKU in Linz. The DISCOVERY is THE career trade fair for students at the campus. 57 companies took part on this event - for example the VOEST Alpine, Siemens, SiemensVAI, KTM, Ernst&Young, RLB, Deloitte, Lenzing AG, Allg. Sparkasse, Beko, REWE, Oberbank, SAP, Infineon, Bosch, Palfinger, Accenture, Umdasch, CSC, Borealis, AMI Linz, Oberlandesgericht, Bundeskanzleramt, and more... The students had the possibility to join workshops, talk to the companies for a job, a diploma thesis or an internship.

It started on 8:00 a.m in the morning with the "career-breakfast". As you can see on the picture, nobody had to hunger, there was enough for everybody ;-)

At 9:00 a.m we had a short ceremony. The OCP of the DISCOVERY (Me), the Vice-rector of the JKU (Prof. Dr. Kalb) and the First President of the OÖ. Landtag Mrs. Orthner had a short speech at the opening.
The DISCOVERY started at 9:00 a.m. and had its end at 05:00 p.m. Below you can see some impressions of the DISCOVERY 2008.
