He guys welcome back to your studies, to @ Meeting and to 2009 *yeahhhh*. I hope you had a nice x-mas and a happy NEW YEAR.

Well this week, elisabeth asked us for some help, because the alumni event. She needs people, who help her to decorate the rooms on Saturday, the 17th of Jan.

This day is the most important day….because it is a part of NK1 (Topic is Walking in a winter wonderland). And this conference is a must for everyone, because MCP and MCVPs will be voted. And I´m so proud that 3 Linzer applied for the MCP and MCVPs.

And these are…….

….. the coolest guys!!!*yeahhh*. Then Karin, andi and Mikel told us why the applied for these positions.

Last , but not least Sam made a quiz with us. The quiz was about AIESEC (what else!!). The winner of this Quiz will get a T-shirt. And the winner is…….
Then Sam told us a very important sentence “Everything we want, we can do!”

Hey guys, it´s me again. Yes and I´m going to report to you, what happened on our @ X-MAS PARTY. *yeahhhhhhhhhhh*
Well first of all, we went to Michi´s Resteraunt and there we had dinner. Nearly everyone was there. After a while we sang “happy birthday” to the boyfriend of Michi´s Mum and as a present from his side, we got free drinks. *yeah* = ) .
Then Andi or Krawi gave to Manuel, (the guy who made the very cool @ viedo) a little gift.

After the dinner, we split up into groups. Some of us went home ( I don´t know why) and some us went to the remember and some of us went to Sassi. It was very funny and a very cool evening.

A merry Christmas to all of you.

He guys. How are you? I hope you had a nice week. Well on this day, there were not so many people, who participate in this LC Meeting.
But never mind. I´m going to tell you what happened on this day:
Well at the beginning Michi told us something about her mum´s Resteraunt, where we are going to do our @ x- mas party. She told us, where it is and what we are going to do after having dinner.
On this day, Katrin from Vienna was sharing with us the meeting and she told us something about the conference in 1. February week. She explained to us the important points of this conference and what going to expect.
Then Andi told us some advices what we could do on the new´s eve or in the first days of the New Year.
After that we went to LUI.

Hola mis amigos y amigas :-)

It is a long time ago but anyway you know what we did during our LCM right? Sure!
At the beginning of our LCM we talked about our AIESEC Mensaparty whereas Harry gave us the latest news regarding the organization of party. Afterwards Nici shared her exchange-experiences with us. She spent her summer in Marocco and I guess we all enjoyed a lot listening to her experiences:-). Thanks Nici!
Furthermore you shouldn’t forget our TM coaches! Johanna takes the responsibility for Communication and Discovery, Martin for Alumni, Nicole for Exchange and Harry is responsible for Finances and ER.
At the end of our LCM we were divided into two groups and each group had to build a robust bridge out of few sheets of paper. Each group showed a great teamwork and the bridges were great as well :-)!

PS: We did the “secret santa” or lets say “wichteln” :-)!

Salut mes Linzer :-),

this week our Communication-Team announced the T-Shirt competition. The idea of an own LC-Linz T-Shirt should not be a great dream any longer. Therefore be creative and send your ideas till 19^th December 08 to the Communication-Team. The Team with the best idea will get a surprise, so accept the challenge ;)!

Moreover our X-Team informed us about some exchange opportunities, Harry gave us an update regarding the AIESEC-Mensafest and the focus of this LCM was the decision-making-training. Before we put theory into practice by means of a game, Johanna gave us an understanding of the Sigmund Freud's structural - id-ego-superego - model using a great role call :)! I will for sure not forget to mention our lovely guest from Brazil: Andrieli Vizzoto, Samuel his girlfriend. BIENVENIDA chica : )!

After our meeting we went for a drink to the LUI, where some of us presented an amazing Karaoke - performance : )!

I'm looking forward to seeing you all again ;)

Hello my SUPPA LINZA :-),

do you remember everything what we did this week in our LCM? No??? You just remember the faked “A-Team” :-))?? In such a dilemma or in case you are not able to attend our lovely meeting, you don’t need to become desperate!

From now on you will find a brief summary of what happened in our weekly getting together and it’s a great pleasure for me to take the responsibility for this blog. I hope you will like it and if not…sorry but I will keep writing nevertheless :-)))))

So what was going on this week?

First of all Harry informed us about our AIESEC-Mensafest, which will take place on 11^th December 08. Don’t forget to help promoting our Mensafest e.g. change your picture on facebook/ studivz!

According to this, the OC Update was the theme. Nominated for the OC President is our lovely "Michi-Mouse" and her OC-Team consists of Metti, Elisabeth, Marina and my humble self :-) . Congratulation! Afterwards our X-Team informed us about the language test and Karin gave us an introduction in MyAIESEC.net.

We had a Team Update as well and we all have been so engaged that we forgot to welcome our guest, Peter Heinzl who will be the Chair at the NK1 (January 09). Sorry once again :-))!

Finally our meeting ended with a Happy- Birthday- Song for our cute Shiying alias Schilling :- )) and yesssss this time we did not cry :-)) !

Where were you? Where have you been? No updates for months!!!
Yes, that's true and I am truly sorry for that but I will make it up for you guys, by presenting to...... THE SUMMER RECAP in a fastword-stlye :)

So, what happened after our EB-team-building and -plannig days? Well, of course we, the EB-team, started to turning our plans into reality! :)
First we had our LK1 (Lokal Kongress 1) where we presented our plans and our budget to the members of our LC. And, we had support from our lovely LC Coach, Cathrin. Since Peter and Martin were late, the had to perform our roll-call "move it, move it". Just compare this video with the one taken at NK2. Can you she the hhhhhuuuuuuuuugggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeee difference. Peter and Martin, you definetely need to practise more! Shame on you! :)

In August, LC Linz then organized "START"-Conference.

And then finally after three months waiting desparatly for him, he finally arrived!!! On Sept. 2nd, SAMUEL, our amazing CEEDer (VP TM) from Santa Maria, Brazil landed at the airport in Linz-Hörsching. Picking him up together with Mikel was really an amazing feeling. And I am truly soooooooooooooooooooooo happy that the is here!!! And trust me, among all the canditates that applied, he for sure was the right one! By taking him, we truly made the best decision ever!!! :)

EB Teambuilding & Planning

Teambuilding - 02. & 03. July 2008 - BauAkademie, Steyregg - Coach: Kevin

What do five people need for a two days teambuliding?....Well, I don't know what "normal" people need but i can tell you what we - the EB0809 - needed: Ropes, 4 scarves, 1 tent, flipcharts, markers, a personal object, canvas, fingerpaints and much, much more! ;-)

What was the goal of this TB?...Enabling the EB0809 to profoundly get to know each other through participative and interactive exercises [imagine the following situation: building up a tent in the middle of the night with one person not being able to hear anything, two not being able to see and one trying to coordinate eyerything while there's thunder and lightning around you], personality assessments [Basti is blue, Mikel is yellow and Andi & I are green] and feedback processes to increase the effectiveness and future results.

Were we successful with achieving this goal? ... Oh yeah, for sure! We are a team now and we will rock as EB0809 of LC Linz!!! :-)

But it wouldn't have been the planning of the EB0809 of Linz if we hadn't had fun - and trust me we had fun! I don't really know how you, Martina, could bear with us these two days, but you definitely proved that you are very patient and tolerant! ;-)

Unfortunately at our last LCM, before we start our summer break, there were not that many people there.

So you missed Taras’ Cheese. His last presentation was “War of Wars and Will” and it was pretty interesting!

NK 2 - Innsbruck, 05. - 08. June 2008

EVOLUTION - this was the theme of the National Konferenz (NK) 2 which took place Innsbruck from 05. - 08. June. And of course, the LC with the coolest members took part in it! :-) Andi E., Andi K., Basti, Elisabeth, Julia, Mikel, Peter, Taras & me went to the beautiful city Innsbruck in order to participate in planning the strategic direction of AIESEC Austria for the term 0809.

Interesting discussion on the future direction of Austria, the current state of each LC, a workshop on networking held be booz&co., getting to know the new MC and EBs, having profound conversations, great parties, sharing inspiring, funny and emotional moments all that and much, much more happened at this conference.

If it had to describe this event in short, it would go like this: There were two different groups of delegates at this conference - for some their term ended, while for others their term started. While some were full of melancholy because they had to leave, others were full of fear because of what may come. What we all had in common though, was simply the fact that we were full of joy - joy because we know that we won't have to walk this uncertain path of future alone - there are AIESECers that will always be there for you and that will accompany you. So, there is no need to look ahead with fear. No, we all will face the future with a big smile on our face knowing that no matter what may come, we won't be alone and thus we will be able to achieve everything - coz nothing is impossible!!!

But since pictures say more than thousand words, i'd rather stop writing now...

1st day: MCP 0708 Bene & MCP 0809 [...I'm brining sexy back]--- 11pm, by blowing out the candles we seal our AIESEC Austria 2010 vision

2nd day: morning glory - a funny and weird game to wake up; weird coz after the two teams playing two rounds we had four winners! I still don't get it... ;-)

Hosting Dialogues - Dialogues of Change - 22.05.2008

After spending quite some hours in the office last Saturday discussing the session-outline and drawing some nice flipcharts, Andi K. and I were ready to facilitate this session.

This session was divided into four main parts. First, we dealt with the question “What stands between us [LC Linz] and greatness [achieving our full potential]?” The next step was figuring out how our ideal AIESEC [heaven] would look like. Our LC would have motivated members who would successfully accomplish their projects and task and would strive for taking leadership-positions. Moreover, AIESEC would be well known by every student of our university and we would be the first choice for all of our stakeholders.

After having a lunch-break where we enjoyed our Pizzas, we continued with analyzing why the current situation of our LC is not the ideal state. To put it differently, we went from heaven straight to hell. We were trying to figure out the roots of this challenge – the challenge of becoming great and so achieving our full potential. In addition to lack of HR as well as passion and spirit of our members and low organizational knowledge transfer the fact that AIESEC is not first priority for students and that the long-term motivation of our members is not consistently were considered to be the most essential problems.

Since we are aiming to improve the current situation of our LC, the final part of this session was figuring out how we can solve these problems. You came up with some really creative and meaningful suggestions, such as: Cool video for lecture presentations, invite alumni to LCM, structured communication pipeline, educate members in self-management etc.

Conclusion of this day: We want to continue our way of leaving hell with all its problems behind and moving right towards heaven. How can we achieve this? By becoming Super-AIESECers. Who are Super-AIESECers? They are AIESECers who are trying to be the change they want to see in their LC! :-)

LCM 21.5. + discovery dinner

Hey AIESECER!

At the last LCM there were again not many members - I know everyone is very busy, however our meeting last just one hour - so I hope to see more next Wednesday ;)

There are still great opportunities for the next year, so do not hesitate to apply for them! If you have any questions about a specific opportunity do not hesitate to ask the responsible persons, who I mentioned last time.

As a great surprise Andi organised a live skype session with our new CEED from Brazil - this was great fun!

At the end of our meeting we were dancing to the bee song (I do not know the right name of the song) and then we were well prepared for the dinner.

After our LCM meeting we had our Discovery dinner and I think everyone enjoyed the delicious food, even Taras ;)

LCM 14.5. – still great TL Opportunities

In our last LCM there was a small attendance, I hope that next Wednesday there are more members there ;)

We have our new CEED! It is Samuel Ferreira de Mello from Brazil and he will come at the beginning of September.

For the next year we have still great TL opportunities. Last Wednesday they present us the job descriptions for these opportunities:

Next Wednesday after the LCM we have our Discovery dinner. So I think most of you will be still in Linz on Thursday when we have our Hosting Dialogues. This session will be from 10.00 – 15.00 (of course with a break ;) ) and it is very important. We analyze the current situation of our LC and define goals for the next year. All your input is needed! Hope to see you there ;)

Last Thursday there was our Mensafest and I think it was a great success even there were not that many people at the beginning. However it was great fun and I am looking forward to the next one :D

And last but not least – I have talked to Ralitzer because of the photos and she said that we will get them as soon as possible.

LCM - 7. May - TL Opportunities

In our last LCM we announced several opportunities for people who are willing to challange themselves, to work hard and to gain experiences. These people are the heart of our LC and I hope you are one of "these people" ;-).

For the next year we have 1 TL and 3 OCP opportunities.

So think about taking the chance to lead a team and to be responsible for a huge project in our LC. We will provide job descriptions and applications for these positions next week on Wednesday and the application will be open for one and a half week (26.5.). So you have time to think about it and if there are any questions just send me an E-Mail.

Another important point in our LCM were the member talks. To become a "member" of our LC you have to answer a few questions. One member talk lasts for approx. 20 min. So check your schedule and tell me when you have time between the 2.6. and the 4.6. The TL talks will be one week earlier on the 27.5. and 28.5. This will be a TL and member talk at once.

Next week we have our Mensafest. The schedule is already fixed but there are still some empty spaces. So please contact Mikel (The Indian Guy) if you have time to help. The sooner the better.

After the LCM we went Bowling with IAESTE. Yeah we kicked asses I think ;-). I would post some fotos but our lovely Karin was not there and therefore nobody had a camera to take pictures. Shame on us 8-(. But I think everybody enjoyed the evening and I am looking forward to play paintball against IAESTE because they told me: "Next time we choose the sport!"

As Peter has already written in his posting, the new EB 08/09 was elected last Friday. After torturing ;-) us with some quite difficult and challenging questions, the "old" EB could finally announce the results: All candidates got elected! *yeah*

Okay, here a short and a lil bit belated summary of our last LCM. *sorry*

Everyone who did not attend our last LCM, guys you really missed a really interesting Personal Goal-Setting session held by our Special Forces Commander Taras! You really did! Thank god we are now so into our Wiki that you find all the files online there [Member-Site -> Infos -> Personality]

We also have some quite interesting conferences coming up:
- 16.05-18.05 - "I'm a seller!" - selling conference in Innsbruck
- 23.05-25.05 - Outgoing Preparation Seminar (OPS) in Linz - for all of you who are planning to do a traineeship abroad this summer...since this conference is organized by our LC, to be precise by our great OCP Julia *yeah*, it will be amazing - trust me!
- 27.05. - MLP-Training Career-Planning - will take place at our uni and it will start around 6 or 7 pm AND there will be a buffet provided afterwards - so be there....for all of you who haven't registered yet, please send an email to Peter ASAP!
- 06.06.-08.06 - NK II - again Innsbruck - guess Innsbruck is pretty busy these days ;-) - for old and new EB, TL and everybody who is interested

One more thing we discussed: OCs and OCP!
"We love the OC, we do..." - We, finally, have an OCP for our Mensafest: Give it up for Mikel! ;-) And Julia, our OCP for OPS, has now two hard-working OCs: Stefan M. & Alex E.! *yeah*

Future conference 2008

Fürstenfeld, April 24th - 27th 2008

"How was it?", Verena asked. It was Monday morning, day 1 after the "Future" conference. Our Communication team meeting had just begun. Karin was quick with her answer: "Stefan, you can share some of your experiences", she said and smiled.

"It was really good", I spontanuosly said. But then I hesitated. Again, I did not know how to describe what I actually liked about the conference. "The dynamic of the conference, this whole atmosphere just lifts you up somehow", I tried to explain.

Yesterday, when we were sitting in the train back home, Taras asked me the same question. "What do you think about the conferenc?" I could not give him a definite answer either.

Now let me try again.

What I didn't like

The mineral water (The most disgusting water ever. However, many people said that it was good for their stomach.)
Leadership panel (BOOORING! People fell asleep.)
The queue in front of my bath room (I was sharing my room with 4 (!) girls which was great but ensured that the bath room was oppupied for around 95% of the time.)
Shaving and taking a shower at 3.30 in the morning (as a consequence of 3.)
Some of the food (My personal favourite was the "rice soup"...)

It was easier to come up with things I did not like. Using the following formula, you can easily calculate what I liked about the conference.

For people who did not attend the conference, this explanation might be a little bit insufficient. So, what else was good?

The Milky Way

On Thursday evening, the Induction track played a game called "The Milky Way". The Facis had set up around 10 tables in the room, which would represent 10 stations. There was a cow, a factory, a commercial department of the factory, some retailers and some customers. Each station received some information, like for example how much milk they had on stock, what their minimum price to sell was, etc.

When the game started, it immedeately became loud and busy in the room. People went from one station to the next trying to buy or sell milk, negotiating hard and enthusiastically. I was in the commercial department of the factory and my team started off pretty well. My team members were good at selling and we made profits on every package that went through our department.

The game lastet about 35 minutes. After it had ended, Vlad asked if anybody in the room had been trying to reach the goal of the game. "The goal of the game?", one heard people think. Before the game had startet, Vlad had shown us the goal of the game: Milk should be passed from the cow through the different stations to the customers.

There was no need to negotiate, no need to strive for profits, no need to put pressure on suppliers or buyers - all of that did not have anything to do with the goal of the game. But still, everybody in the room did exactly what we were not supposed to. And nobody followed the goal.

This simple game made me understand that it is easy to go wrong, that I can go wrong easily. Just do what everybody does. Just play the game as all others do. To me, this was much more than a game. It showed me, how easily I can be irritated and forget to do the right things.

Dialogueing

By looking into people's eyes, you can see into their souls.

One part of the impressive session by Kevin was to find a partner and to do nothing but looking into the partner's eyes. For 5 minutes. Quietly.

That might sound simple. Actually it is simple. But we are not used to it.

I was looking into the eyes of a girl called Jelena and the five minutes we looked at each other connected us in an undiscribable way. The conversation with Jelena that followed was incredible. I could talk to her so easily, even though I did not know her name in this moment.

Look into people's eyes. It is amazing what you can see!

Brainwashing

The whole conference washed my brain somehow. It took me to another atmosphere, a world sperated from the real world. It made me think a lot, especially about myself. It feels like I know what people mean when they say "I am an AIESECer". And what is more, I think want to be an AIESECer myself.

I don't know what exactly it was, but the whole conference made me somehow believe in myself. It made me believe that I can do something, that I have potential ant that I can change something. Maybe it was the brilliant Facis I met or maybe it was the OC members that were at work when I went to bed and again (or still) when I woke up. Maybe it was the hilarious roll calls or easy talks with people from other places in the world when we had dinner. Maybe it was the committment of everybody involved or maybe it was the talks with my LC members on the train. I don't know. Perhaps it was a little bit of everything.

LCM April 23rd, 2008: once again: I like to move it, move it…

Our LCM started (almost on time ;-)) at 7pm with our new role-call…I like to move it, move it! The motivation was great and everyone was dancing like a pro – We were that good that also some people, coming from the Ch@t, had to stop and watch us! (Our first FANS!!!)

There is no way: The dance-floor is yours at FUTURE II!!

The next part was concerning OPS and OCP for our Mensafest. There are still some positions left – You are that close to be part of it, just write an e-mail to Peter (peter.laher@gmx.at).

I think most of you forgot the homework to create a unique SHOUT for our LC!

However after the constructive criticism on Stefan M.‘s shout last week he reworked his shout and tried it again. This time it was more passionate!

Julia and Elisabeth arrived late at our meeting :-), however they were well prepared for the SHOUT COMPETITION. Their shout was very innovative!

Although you had some good ideas for the SHOUT you decided to be creative again during your long, long, long trip to Fürstenfeld.

I am looking forward to hearing our new SHOUT!

Today (Saturday) there is the one-and-only BOAT RACE at FUTURE II – Don’t disappoint me and win it!!! I want to hear at the next LCM: We are the champions… ;-)

Wednesday eveneing - 7pm - somewehere at the Kepler University - 17 AIESECers, 18 bottles of watter, 3 packages of chips, 1 laptop, 1 projector, 2 speakers, 1 dancefloor, a lot of information and much more fun - that was our LCM this week presented by Andi K.: :-)

Since we are aming on constantly improving our sessions, we started this LCM with feedback from our newies on our local induction. Here are some statements and suggestions:

Martin H.: "It was funny! A lot of information on one day. I really liked the party in the evening - it was great!"

Georg: "It was a long day with much information. First I had no clue about AIESEC, about its aims, its history - now i do. I liked the round-table-sessions in small groups, it's better than just having lectures."

Stefan M.:"I aggree with Georg. It was very intersting and there were a lot of things to remember. Now I have a good overview of AIESEC. It was good that we were spending the day toghter so that you get to know the ppl from our LC. Oh, and I loved the videos - they were great! *yeah* I was even about to applaud!"

Stefan Sch.:"It was a lot of input. I had a good time. It was a little bit too much though - specially at the end. The history video was overwhelming - yet it somehow created too much of respect. Since the video ist not aimed at new members, there are maybe better ways of presenting the AIESEC-history!"

According to the saying "sharing is caring"Andi K., Basti and myself, Karin, then talked about ILC 2008 (Iberoamerican Leaderhsip Congress) in Barcelona. ["Intense, impressive, amazing, great partners & workshps, amazing global village, fun, ..."] and showed some of our best snapshots of this conference.

In the next part, the "Opportunity-Show-Time" Andi informed us about the open positions of OCP for OPS (Organizing Committee President for Outgoing Preparation Seminar - 23.-25. May 2008 - Froschberg Hostel, Linz - about 30 delegates) and OCP for our Mensafest (15. May 2008), which will be organized in cooperation with IAESTE. If you are intersted in these positions, send an email to Peter (peter.laher@gmx.at). Just an advise from my side: Go for it! It's really a great opportunity to gain first leadership-experience and to work in a team! :-)

After all this informative input it was time for the crazy part: SHOUT COMPETITION & DANCING!!! :-) Yep, right - we were not just having lectures at this LCM but we were also singing and shaking our asses! ;-)

Unfortuantely, you guys hadn't really made up your mind to create a new LC-shout! Honestly, that was a little bit disappointing! :-( Only Stefan M. as well as Andi K. and me did come up with something that was close to being a shout. While Stefan's "shout" was lacking of energy and passion - according to Taras the word "fucking" was missing - Andi's and mine (holadaria) was way too long! To sum it up: A shout has to be passionate, crazy, innovative, short yet powerful and easy to remember - the last aspect is very essential, especially when your are trying to yell this shout at a party at 4 in the morning! :-)

What was not disappointing at all was how you guys were rocking the dance-floor! Damn you are all really great dancers and fast learners! :-) Thanks to your dancing master Andi K. (and thanks to the MCP of Germany), we have now a brand new, really awesome role-call...I like to move it, move it! *yeah*...Damn, we will rock the dancefloor at Future II, that's for sure! Just in case you don't remember the moves, you find them online on our Wiki.

Since this dancing-lesson was quite exhausting, we all went to LUI for having some drinks afterwards. Here are some impressions of the socializing-part:

DISCOVERY - April 09, 2008

The DISCOVERY career trade fair opened its doors on the 9th of April at the JKU in Linz. The DISCOVERY is THE career trade fair for students at the campus. 57 companies took part on this event - for example the VOEST Alpine, Siemens, SiemensVAI, KTM, Ernst&Young, RLB, Deloitte, Lenzing AG, Allg. Sparkasse, Beko, REWE, Oberbank, SAP, Infineon, Bosch, Palfinger, Accenture, Umdasch, CSC, Borealis, AMI Linz, Oberlandesgericht, Bundeskanzleramt, and more... The students had the possibility to join workshops, talk to the companies for a job, a diploma thesis or an internship.

It started on 8:00 a.m in the morning with the "career-breakfast". As you can see on the picture, nobody had to hunger, there was enough for everybody ;-)

At 9:00 a.m we had a short ceremony. The OCP of the DISCOVERY (Me), the Vice-rector of the JKU (Prof. Dr. Kalb) and the First President of the OÖ. Landtag Mrs. Orthner had a short speech at the opening.

The DISCOVERY started at 9:00 a.m. and had its end at 05:00 p.m. Below you can see some impressions of the DISCOVERY 2008.

Hey AIESEC Linz & Austria,

Finally AIESEC Linz is becoming modern ;), thanks to Karin we are now in the Wiki and we have an own blog!!!!

I am really glad that AIESEC Linz is growing in verious ways and I do like the passion our new members are showing, not only by dancing ;) but also through the whole day of our local induction!! It was a great day and I guess our newies get prepared and informed for FUTURE II!! And the socializing afterwards was great aswell.

So, keep up your spirit guys and enjoy our time in AIESEC, I definitely do ;)

See you at the next LCM, with a lot of shouts from your site, keep the price in your mind ;) but not only the price but also the opportunity to show AIESEC in Austria how cool Linz is!!

Seriously LC Linz has some very nice potential.

From all of the LC's I have ever dealt with .... lol 30+ now....

AIESEC Linz is in a great position too really develop itself over the next year and make the other LC's in Austria and EU take note.

Futures is coming up and I hope that we can really come up with a nice cheer that we can all yell!!!

Local Induction - Saturday, 12. April 2008

On a sunny saturday 19 highly motivated AIESECers gathered in the beautiful ESH-Heim in order to be part of the transition of the AIESEC-knowledge from the old to the new AIESECers in Linz. ;-)

After receiving an overview of the AIESEC History, Big Picture as well as the global, national and local structure, our newies were informed about their opportunities in AIESEC.

In addition to this theoretical input, we also tried to give them an understanding of our AIESEC-culture! Showing them the moves for Tunak Tunak Tun and Lei Lei...well, to be honest, Peter, Andreas E. and me, Karin, didn't remember all the moves very well...and since our dancing-master Andreas K. was taking part in the Kick-Off-Conference in Bielefeld, Germany that day, we somehow failed...anyways, we had fun and that's the most important thing, ryte! ;-)

Thanks to our "special force"-member Taras, who supported us a lot, we also got an insight into the AIESEC-culture in Canada! ;-) (These guys over there are just as crazy as we are, trust me) ;-)

Furthermore, we asked our newies to create a shout for our LC. Since our great shout "Suppa Linza, Suppa Linz, hey, hey hey" is very well-known among ALL (!)AIESECers in Austria, we decided to come up with something new at Future II. In Fürstenfeld, we will prove that our LC is full of power, passion and creativity (and crazyness). ;-) The best shout will be awarded at Future II btw - so don't miss that!:-)

After about nine hours (!) full with AIESEC-input - yes, our newies can take a lot -we had a delicious dinner at Josef's! Yes, overall it was a really great day! :-)
