LCM 11.6.

Unfortunately at our last LCM, before we start our summer break, there were not that many people there.

So you missed Taras’ Cheese. His last presentation was “War of Wars and Will” and it was pretty interesting!

At the NK II they did a lot of work and even partying ;) AND we got an award!

Honestly, I was surprised how synchronously we were dancing. And I was shocked how much we make the impression of being drunk when shouting! :-)

NK 2 - Innsbruck, 05. - 08. June 2008

EVOLUTION - this was the theme of the National Konferenz (NK) 2 which took place Innsbruck from 05. - 08. June. And of course, the LC with the coolest members took part in it! :-) Andi E., Andi K., Basti, Elisabeth, Julia, Mikel, Peter, Taras & me went to the beautiful city Innsbruck in order to participate in planning the strategic direction of AIESEC Austria for the term 0809.

Interesting discussion on the future direction of Austria, the current state of each LC, a workshop on networking held be booz&co., getting to know the new MC and EBs, having profound conversations, great parties, sharing inspiring, funny and emotional moments all that and much, much more happened at this conference.

If it had to describe this event in short, it would go like this: There were two different groups of delegates at this conference - for some their term ended, while for others their term started. While some were full of melancholy because they had to leave, others were full of fear because of what may come. What we all had in common though, was simply the fact that we were full of joy - joy because we know that we won't have to walk this uncertain path of future alone - there are AIESECers that will always be there for you and that will accompany you. So, there is no need to look ahead with fear. No, we all will face the future with a big smile on our face knowing that no matter what may come, we won't be alone and thus we will be able to achieve everything - coz nothing is impossible!!!

But since pictures say more than thousand words, i'd rather stop writing now...

1st day: MCP 0708 Bene & MCP 0809 [...I'm brining sexy back]--- 11pm, by blowing out the candles we seal our AIESEC Austria 2010 vision


2nd day: morning glory - a funny and weird game to wake up; weird coz after the two teams playing two rounds we had four winners! I still don't get it... ;-)

Saturday evening - Award ceremony --- the whole delegation of NK 2 dressed up --- the cool delegation of LC Linz (me, Andi E., Andi, Peter, Taras & Basti) --- reach for the stars! :-)

Congratulations to the leaders of AIESEC Austria 0708: You can be really proud of your term! What you have achieved and how you did this makes you all role-models for the new MC and EBs!
And to you, the new MC and EBs: I just want you to know that the fact that you will accompany in my term as LCVP makes me extremely happy and confident that I will be able to reach my goals and what's more, I will be able to successfully cope with every challenge! I am sooo looking foward to meeting you all again at the START conference in August. Until then, I wish you a successful team-building and constructive team-planning! :-)
